Meet Penny. The Inspiration Behind Our Highland Cow Stuffies. 🐮
As we've built Stevenson Farms, one of our greatest passions has been keeping our whole family involved. Our girls are no exception. Whether it's placing labels on jars, helping put wicks in candle jars, packing orders, or keeping up with the never-ending farm chores, they all play a part in what we do.
And at the end of each busy day, just like so many other kids, each of our girls snuggles up in bed with her favorite stuffie.
One night, while tucking them into bed, we had an idea. What if we could extend that connection to Stevenson Farms to every member of the family, even the littlest ones?
That's where Penny comes in.
Penelope (or Penny, as we always call her) was the very first Highland cow born here on our farm, and from the moment she arrived, we knew she was special. She was exactly what we had prayed for, and she quickly became a beloved member of our farm family.
Highland cows are known for their gentle, affectionate, and docile nature, so when we started dreaming up a stuffie of our own, we couldn't think of a more perfect animal to bring to life.
After a lot of searching, we found an incredible company in London, England, where each stuffie is lovingly crocheted by hand. From the shaggy hair to the sweet little face and adorable frilly tail, we fell in love with every detail.
Our hope is that Penny becomes that one special stuffie your little one carries everywhere. The one that goes on family adventures, gets tucked into bed every night, and maybe even ends up a little worn from all the love.
We're pretty confident she'll become a new favorite member of your family. Well, at least with your kids! 😂

Our Crazy Beginning
When we started Stevenson Farms, skincare wasn’t part of the plan. We imagined a few t-shirts, a hat or two—simple pieces with words that meant something to us.
When we began using tallow moisturizer ourselves, we saw real results: clearer skin, improved texture, and a healthier feel overall. There was one big problem…the price.
We wanted to create clean, effective tallow-based skincare that is accessible to everyone. So...we did!
